WHY RECYCLING ALUMINUM MATTERS

Aluminum is one of the easiest materials to recycle, and it's also one of the most valuable. Every can you recycle helps reduce landfill waste, conserve energy, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. Plus, recycling aluminum requires 95% less energy than producing new aluminum, making it a win for both the environment and your wallet.

DID YOU KNOW?

  • The average American consumes 3 cans of soda per day, equating to over 1,000 cans a year!
  • Recycling just 1 ton of aluminum saves enough energy to power the average home for 10 years.
  • An aluminum can can be recycled and back on the shelf as a new can in as little as 60 days.
